Plans, plans and vodka

The year is about to wrap up. Oh what good have I done in 2010? A lot, I hope. *smiles* Really. Because I always try to do my best in everything. But then if my best isn’t enough, then there’s always tomorrow for me to work on that.
I’m excited with what 2011 will bring for me and my family. I’m praying for great things. Actually, we have lots of plans in the coming year. Big plans, small plans. Short term, long term. A lot. Like the other day, I told my sister, the one who works in an IT firm and plans to transfer in a bigger firm like First 4 IT perhaps, we have so many plans that it’s better to lay them one by one and “talk them over bottles of vodka.” *grins sheepishly*
Now as mush as I am thrilled with what’s going to happen in 2011, I’m anxious, too. Because some of our plans involve our careers. For instance, my sister wants to make a career move i.e IT support London or somewhere where the pasture is lush and green. Like her, I also plan to do that. And this means, giving up our work, going jobless for maybe few months to pursue what we want. Going jobless makes me anxious. I’m sure my sister is, too. But Life involves taking risks sometimes. So I just have to cross my fingers, hope and pray for the best for all of us.
But yeah, we’ll have that vodka first. :-)
