A cat was meeyawing outside and Matt stopped on his tracks.
Matt: Ket -crying.
Me: Oh yes. Why is the cat crying?
Matt: Looking for Mama.
Me: Why, where’s his Mama?
Matt: Working.
Ouch.
Child psychology. Now you have a fair idea what I deal with everytime I go to work because dear son is in this very cute stage of wanting no one but Mama. It’s heartbreaking. And everytime, I’m torn between needing to take further steps away and wanting to just.Stay.There. Just stay home.

Oh- I’m sorry! I feel your pain…my daughter said to me after being home for Easter vacation- ‘why can’t we stay home together everyday?’ yup- I pretty much wanted to call and quit my job at the very moment.

I get those kinds of comments from my daughter too. Amazing how kids can be so smart at a young age and painfully honest too.

Oh dear! I can relate. It’s really hard to be a working mom. It’s a relief that there are saturdays and sundays, because I can get away with “weekday morning dramas” =)
Ooooh, I bet that does hurt. I’m sure I’m gonna have to do that at some point too :o(
