I No Longer Fit Into This Stiletto

Photobucket

I swear I no longer fit into this stiletto. How much more with my gown? But that - I don’t want to find out. Don’t let me add salt to a bleeding injury. No salt. I could do better with hot chichi…chili sauce this cold dawn.

So let there be hot chili sauce. No bouquets but hot chili sauce only. No bouquets?

Now even if I no longer fit into this stiletto, I know my hand still fits in yours.  Forever. And even without my asking, I know you’ll keep my heart –and me- hohoohooo… whole.

Even if I torture you about the bouquets again and again.

These are souvenirs bought by my brother in Korea.

When I say this one is different, what I mean is the language. See the inscribed characters? I’ve been wondering what all these meant. Do you know what it says?

Thankful Thursday #5

thur

We had a rough time last night - actually, it’s already morning. Matt had coughing fits at a very ungodly hour (and barely two hours after I had closed my lids).

But I’m just thankful for that icky liquid that helps neutralize his cough.

I’m also thankful for the strength to rock him. And grateful for the Thank You Lord song that miraculously sent him back to sleep in no time. It was either that song or my voice I do want to believe it’s the former but that’s would be fooling myself and trust me, it’s more reasonable to believe it was the latter :).

Party hats. Party bags.  And other party stuff for the games. These were goodies on Matt’s 2nd Birthday party last year.

It’s Telling Me I’m Not Human

captcha

I read it and it said: spell coffee backwards.

So with blazing fingers I typed s-d-r-a-w-k-c-a-b.

Sorry, your CAPTCHA response was incorrect. Please try again.

So I tried again, a little slower this time to make sure I got it all right, s-d-r-a-w-k-c-a-b. Sorry, your CAPTCHA response was incorrect. Please try again.

(Of course you might have figured out from the start what’s wrong). But for the life of me, I couldn’t figure out what’s wrong. Where could my mistake be? Then I read it again - a minute for every word.

Spell. coffee. backwards.

Ha! Captcha boo-cha! I couldn’t believe it! I couldn’t believe I made a mistake. I failed a simple test that determines if a user is human or not! So it seems like I do not have a human mind!

Me = humanoid.

*scratch head* scratch thigh*scratch* scratch*scratch*

I really don’t want to admit this. I cannot be sure I am human now. I have proof that says otherwise. Me, not human. Good God help me! I must be a humanoid. An exceptionally made humanoid. One that exactly looks, thinks and feels like a human. Perfect humanoid! Imagine, even my reproductive system is made to perfection that I am able to bear a child (and that could be plural in the future).

So now you really should call me Mama Mejoid. Because I prefer that than being called plain toopid.

A captcha stands for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart. It is a program that protects websites against bots by generating and grading tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot. For example, humans can read distorted text but current computer programs can’t.

Thankful Thursday #4

thur

Today, I’ll give thanks for the financial opportunities that is coming my way. I’ve missed some, but I always believe that what we lose will all readily be replaced with something better - in God’s perfect time. And lately, what I missed were replaced with much better ones. I’m just grateful. I’m a long way off of becoming rich but our needs (and few wants) are taken cared of.

And then I’m thankful for the many blessing that God has freely given to us:

His word. His love.

The water that quenches our thirst, that refreshes me with daily baths, that we use to wash our plates, our clothes…

The food that nourished us.

The air that we breathe - although I sometimes complain that it’s not totally sanitized, but can you imagine living without oxygen?
