Oh no!!!! That is simply gross. But, when it’s your kid, it’s your kid. I do really disgusting things for my dog…like clean her butt and pick apart her poop. All in a day’s work. It’s all good.

Well, uh, I can’t think of any parent who could judge you for that–all of us have done stuff like that, I think. Maybe not exactly that (yours is the first tale of parental nose-picking I have read), but similar things…

Hang in there…you won’t be picking his nose when he is a teenager…I hope…

Have you had him tested for allergies? Seriously, he might be trying to clear his airways before lying down because he knows he is congested and is going to have trouble breathing once he nods off. I think I would have him tested just to be safe.

Then again, it could just be a habit. Comfort.
