I’m not really much of a shoes person. I prefer rubber slippers over shoes or sandals. In fact, I am so used to wearing flipflops that I made a complete fool of myself a couple of days ago - when I, wearing my favorite flipflops, went to a government office with the intent of renewing my engineering license. I was refused entry by the guard. Ouch!
Later, I punished myself sashayed into the building wearing a pair of 3-inch wedges. But while I was standing behind the long lines, I so longed for my Prima which is my second best footwear after the slippers.

I’m okay with wearing heels and walking long distances with them (provided they’re not stiletto 3-inch heels) but i’ve also gotten used to my slippers at home (noosa, croc-like ones) which are just sooo comfy

Interesting shot of your rubber shoes! I can relate since I’m almost always barefoot around home and wear only comfy sandals when I have to don shoes. I’ve shared at Small Reflections.

hmmm… i cannot understand why you were not allowed to enter that building. it’s already a common thing that flip flops are widely used now. besides, what has it got to do with renewing a license? absurd policies talaga..
