I found this flower in the yard but I don’t know what it is. Although its leaves are shaped differently, its flower looks like that of an anthurium (but not the usual ones). So if I may hazard a guess, I think it’s one of the species belonging to the genus Anthurium. Now what’s yours?
UPDATE: So I know now that it is a Peace Lilly. Thanks to Carver for giving me a name to this flower.

That seems a very apt name for the flower. First time I’ve seen something like this.

First, I apologize for the comment issue - I corrected it as soon as I could, it appears to have been a spam issue. Ugh.
Secondly, I’m glad you found out what it was. I knew but am late. =)

I was thinking it was some kind of lily. I see a lot of anthriums here in Hawaii and that didn’t look like one. Great photo though!!!

Your post and all the responses gave me a great idea. I may start a ‘What is this?’ series of posts on my blog and maybe visitors can give me a clue as to the identity of some of the plants and creatures (particularly insects) I have photographed. Sometimes I’m stumped, lol.
I’m glad you got so many responses.
