Thankful Thursday

thur

It’s been awhile since I posted here and I’m just glad to be able to post now. I’m having a pretty hectic schedule at home and in the office.

I’m just thankful to be alive. For everyone’s good health.

I’m thankful for moments with my son - playing blocks and playdough with him, watching Cars with him, laughing with him, getting mad at him… Among other things, so goes my reason for the hectic home schedule. *grin*

I’m thankful that he’s responding well to his asthma maintenance - he does have it now. It took few days before he stopped fighting when we give it to him but it has greatly helped him manage the frequent attacks.

Everytime we drop by the gas station, it seems the price of gasoline is higher compared to when we last had our tank filled. I complain, sometimes. But still, I’m glad for the blessing to pay for every fuel refill. And also thankful for that we can pay our bills.

I’m glad for a very hardworking husband.  His career is on a roll and I’m so happy for him.

Now I’m really humbled. You found a very positive way to view the price of gas… I’ve just grumbled every time I see the signs advertising the escalating prices. Thanks for the reminder to be thankful that we can still pay for gas.

Good to hear that M is responding well to his asthma treatment. Hopefully it won’t bother him too much once it is under control.

Thank God your son is responding well to his asthma treatments. I just got diagnosed with asthma myself, I’m just thankful I finally got to know just what on earth was wrong with me.

Your new template is lovely. God bless you.

Hm - yes - gas-prices are rising in a very fast pace. I have seen the other day that the gallon rose 8 cents in one day…Yikes. My told me that gas is now $6/gallon in Germany…double yikes…

I am so glad to read that your little guy is doing well on the medication :) Wonderful that your husband’s career is going well!

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us.

    Be blessed today and always…

PS: I love your new blog look :)

Living somewhere in the tropics, I have sentenced myself to mind-time-word consuming and rigid finger-exercise otherwise known as blogging. Unknowingly from the start. Now it has become an addiction. So now, I am not only an old-fashioned mother, a trying-hard sweet wife, a silly telco engineer and patient housemaid but a trying-hard-to-sound-smart blogger as well. Call me Mama Meji. And I am blogging about nonsense a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. Thanks for paying a visit. I’ll sure return the favor but if I cannot do so the soonest, just think that I’m still doing what I can with a week-old laundry. Or I’m still trying to break free from my son’s and/or my sweet hub tight embrace and dodge wet kisses. Or the aliens have abducted and kept me from romancing the keyboards.
