At a point or some points of in our lives, we -parents- give up things for the sake of our family. Our kids. A selfless act (or acts) borne out of love.

It hasn’t been easy for us this past couple of weeks. Matt’s sporadic yet long coughing fits. (yes, even much harder for him, what with all the doctor trips, tests and medicines). Hence, sleep - I haven’t had enough of. Mealtimes –at times skipped. I could barely hold his weight for long but I would hold him and rock him to sleep. Why wouldn’t I? If it would make him feel better, sleep better. If it would comfort him. I will. Plain peanuts.thur

But God’s sacrifice - for the love of mankind- is absolutely not peanuts. Amazing. Greatest.  Ultimate act which sprung out of love. Imagine, how must it be for God who gave up his Son so that we all shall be free from sin. And for Jesus who obeyed The Father and gave up living so that we all shall live. Imagine.
