Thankful Thursday

thur

At last, we’ve reached a decision.  Houston and I.

About our living arrangement. About our future.

Some may know that DH works away from home and we only see him once or twice a month. It’s been like that for four years already. When it was just “us”, this really was no concern for me. We could always meet up somewhere. But when Matt came, everything has changed. It’s even more different now that Matt is in his formative years and the need to bond with a father is very imminent. Although H & I have no trust issues (thanks God!), to me and obviously to Matt, there is nothing more wonderful than having him close by. And it would be great to have him around to help me with parenting because I do need some help. I certainly couldn’t be more happier to see Matt bond with his father everyday.

And honestly, the previous indecision was causing me unease because I really am not the “let’s see” kind of girl. I’ve always liked to plan and work for the plan. And unlike Houston, I am also not the most patient person in the world. :-) But the let’s-see-what-happens period is over. It’s good that we have a goal now - not that we don’t have that before. But it’s very specific now and it’s good to know that we finally have decided which track to take and that we can both work for this common goal now.

It may take sometime to see the result but we trust God to get us all there. I trust in His promise. “Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4

Friends, please pray for us too.

    Hello again Zamejias,

It is getting tough at PPP and I am getting tired of those grabbing task method at PPP. The opportunities are coming at odd times for me here in Malaysia.

I have more success now with other companies such as (hope you don’t mind if I put my referral links here):

At least these other companies either let you bid for opportunities while it is up to the advertisers to accept your bid or not, we don’t have to compete with others to grab at tasks. If the advertisers like our blog, we will get the assignments.

    Take care then.

    Sincere regards,
    Serena

You are so right - it is important that Matt has his father close by.

Lord of Heaven & Earth. I am asking You to make Your will known to H & M. We know that You already have a plan for them. Lord, give them strength and peace at this time of changes pending. In the precious name of my Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

It is so important for kids to have their father around. The husband has so much input into a child especially a boy. In the perfect world a child learns what God the Father is like from their earthly dad.

I pray that your plans work out and that God will bring you to be a family together all the time

About Author

Living somewhere in the tropics, I have sentenced myself to mind-time-word consuming and rigid finger-exercise otherwise known as blogging. Unknowingly from the start. Now it has become an addiction. So now, I am not only an old-fashioned mother, a trying-hard sweet wife, a silly telco engineer and patient housemaid but a trying-hard-to-sound-smart blogger as well. Call me Mama Meji. And I am blogging about nonsense a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g. Thanks for paying a visit. I’ll sure return the favor but if I cannot do so the soonest, just think that I’m still doing what I can with a week-old laundry. Or I’m still trying to break free from my son’s and/or my sweet hub tight embrace and dodge wet kisses. Or the aliens have abducted and kept me from romancing the keyboards. To find out about these aliens, you may email me at zamejias [-at-] makimeji [-dot-] com.
