I’ve heard about glucosamine but don’t really know all about it. My guess is, from the word glucose, it’s some kind of sugar compound. So today, I’m taking my break (I do take breaks too apart from coffee and lunch breaks) and reading about glucosamine sulphate and what it does to our body.
Click here to read about what Mister Wiki has to say about it.
I’ve also read an article from about.com saying ” Glucosamine is a compound found naturally in the body, made from glucose and the amino acid glutamine.” Continue reading that here.
Besides, the two posts I mentioned above, I found a couple more articles online with glucosamine as subject. Here’s one (which is more like a FAQ sheet) from National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine and another one from National Institutes of Health. Both are good reads, although reading them, I suddenly found my head swimming in an ocean of medical terminology. But insightful, nonetheless.
